San Diego: Hike with Bruins in South Bay San Diego

Join local San Diego Bruins for a relaxed South Bay hike and hangout. We will meet at the Kumeyaay Park Statue and walk together through Rice Canyon Open Preserve, enjoying fresh air, good conversation, and easy trails.
As this gathering falls on the weekend before Cinco de Mayo, we invite you to walk with us and learn about the history and meaning of the day with Jessica Huerta, UCLA Sociology PhD Candidate.
After the hike, anyone who wants to keep the day going can head over to 3rd Ave in Chula Vista for lunch together. All paces welcome. Bring water, comfortable shoes, and your Bruin spirit!
