Join artist Danielle Dean for an after-hours tour of SPACE IS THE PLACE: Selections from the Hammer Contemporary Collection. Danielle Dean is an interdisciplinary artist and educator who works across video, sculpture, performance, and installation. Her art explores how technology, architecture, marketing, and media are used as tools of oppression and surveillance, bringing to light the histories of labor exploitation and resource extraction that are hidden beneath the ever-growing deluge of advertisements.
