Drop by the Geology Library Reading Room to play board games, make personalized buttons and check out Library collections! Games are a great way to meet and make connections with new people, especially for those new to campus. Staff will be available to help facilitate the games and all levels of experience are welcome!

This workshop will describe literature reviews across multiple contexts and genres. The workshop will also cover strategies and best practices for note-taking, preparatory steps, writing process issues, and organization.

This workshop provides an overview on the various forms of academic dishonesty regarding plagiarism. Participants will learn when, where, and why it is important to cite properly. Students will also learn how to avoid plagiarism and the information presented will stress the need to attribute work to the original author and the potential outcomes for plagiarizing. This workshop is only open to instructors. This workshop will examine Bruin Learn through an accessibility lens. Participants will learn how to structure pages, write useful link and alt text, improve readability and more. Participants will also explore Bruin Learn's accessibility checking tools to find potential barriers, and then decide how to remediate the issues.

From Postdoc to Professor brings together essential elements of teaching preparation into one engaging experience for postdoctoral scholars.
